*Wakes up and lazily reaches phone… Opens Snapchat message and reads: “first day of work!”*. That’s when I suddenly snap into reality.

So, I have just finally finished Secondary education and am able to wake up at 12:00pm every day without a care in the world… But seriously! I just had to get reminded of the harsh reality of my free time didn’t I? I basically sit around, reading, sleeping and occasionally going out for a few minutes to then come back and go back to hibernation mode. Terrible. I know.

What has my life come to? Thanks to my new found freedom of no timetables or responsibilities, let’s face it, I’m wasting my youth. So the message just got in, most of the people I know are off on holiday, courtesy of Instagram updates with all with images of glittering blue oceans in Spain with their golden beaches and fireworks as well as some amazing Mosques in Dubai made of white marble gleaming in the bright, mood-lifting sunshine. While others actually going out and working. Poor them…or is it poor me?

I haven’t given much thought into what I want to be after completing my further education, but at this rate I might as well be a librarian with the amount of dreariness and monotony I carry throughout the day anyway. I have an extended holiday since my GCSEs and have done literally nothingggg. But seriously, what to do?! Looking for work experience is such effort!!

So in the meantime, I decided to encourage my more creative side (which many don’t actually believe I have) and begin a blog. This blog! So, let’s see where this leads!!

I also wanted to say Ramadan Mubarak to all those fasting out there!
